OSF COVID-19 Response Plans

In keeping with Executive Orders and CDC guidelines, OSF will continue to operate in the following manner:

  • The OSF Corporate Office will be open Monday - Friday during regular office hours for each program. OSF staff will be on-site on a rotating shift, and the maximum number of occupants will be 10 at this time. 

  • All OSF in-person program classes will continue to be held virtually. Every attempt will be made to work with our clients to provide alternatives for program completion. OSF staff will contact participants by phone, email, or mail to relay information and completion alternatives.

    • CORP will hold Workplace Survival/Job Readiness, Anger Management and Parenting classes virtually. If you have questions, please contact Iris Daye, Program Director, at idaye@onestepfurther.com

    • Life Skills will hold their classes virtually. If you have questions, please contact Ajar Williams, Program Director, at awilliams@onestepfurther.com

  • The OSF CSNP grocery assistance program will operate on a "drive thru" system at both the  Greensboro and High Point locations to reduce the risk of exposure. The following schedule will be followed:

    • Greensboro: Monday-Thursday 9:30am-2:30pm (please be in line by 2:15pm)​

    • High Point: 2nd and 3rd Friday 11am-2pm (please be in line by 1:45pm)

    • If you are a walker, bus rider, or SCAT rider, we will have an expedited line for you to move through. Please make sure that you remain at least 6 feet from another walker. 

  • Any changes to our current business hours or services will be communicated via email or phone to participants and other stakeholders, and announcements will be posted on our website (www.onestepfurther.com) and phone system.

One Step Further, Inc. has provided valuable services to Guilford and surrounding counties since 1982. A member agency of both the United Way of Greater Greensboro and the United Way of Greater High Point, our services include Adult Mediation Services, Juvenile Mediation Services, Guilford and Alamance County Teen Court, Guilford and Alamance County Juvenile Community Service-Restitution, the Community-Offender Resource Program, Family Factor, Guilford and Alamance County Junior/Senior Life Skills, and the Community Support & Nutrition Program. We have made a difference in the lives of so many adults and juveniles and continue to refine our services based on recognized community needs to have an even greater impact on the people we serve.
